Quick answer: If you live in Lake City, Dr Alee’s Pet Clinic is your nearby vet for cats and dogs. We are on Beaconhouse University Road, opposite DRIP and near Adda Plot, open 7 days a week, from 1 PM (3 PM on Fridays) until 11 PM, and you can walk in without an appointment.
Lake City has many young families, and with them a lot of new puppies and kittens. A good start matters: the right vaccines at the right age, regular deworming and a first full check-up. Our vets set out a simple plan for your pet’s first year and remind you when the next visit is due.
Puppy and kitten care
- First vaccinations and boosters on a clear schedule, with a vaccination card.
- Deworming and tick and flea protection suited to your pet’s age and weight.
- Diet advice for growing pets, from our vets rather than a sales counter.
- Spay and neuter at the right age, with a pre-surgery check.
When your pet is unwell
Vomiting, not eating, limping or a sudden change in behaviour all deserve a vet’s opinion. Our vets examine your pet, explain what they find and, if tests are needed, use our partner laboratory so results come back quickly.
